  • What is this event?
    I Should be Souvlaki is popping up at the Belfry Bar (272 Brunswick St, Fitzroy) for three days only! Get ready for three days of amazing food and incredible hospitality, courtesy of I Should be Souvlaki at the Belfry Bar.
  • What time is the event?
    Our opening times for this pop up event are: Friday the 2nd of June: 5pm – late (kitchen closes at 1am) Saturday the 3rd of June: 12pm – late (kitchen closes at 1am) Sunday the 4th of June: 12pm – 4pm (lunch only)
  • What is the address?
    We are so grateful to be welcomed by our friends at the Belfry (@thebelfrybar). Their address is: 272 Brunswick Street Fitzroy (across the road from Naked for Satan)
  • Can I reserve a table?
    Absolutely you can - head to your reservation page to make a booking. We will be reserving part of the Belfry for bookings and will also have plenty of room for walk-ins.
  • Can I order takeaway?
    Absolutely you can – chat to our friendly team and they will show you how to put through a take-away order.
  • Will you be in Melbourne permanently?
    At this stage, this pop up event is one weekend only, however with enough support we are hopeful we will be invited back and who knows what will happen in the future!
  • Is the event licensed?
    We are so excited that our pop-up is fully licensed, with our friends at the Belfry putting on the best drinks in town! No BYO please
  • Is the venue accessible?
    The venue is multi level, with the bottom floor being accessible. Unfortunately the bathroom facilities at the Belfry are upstairs and there is no lift, however there is an accessible public bathroom 20 meters from the venue on Victoria st.
  • Where can I park?
    Brunswick Street parking can be tricky but there is plenty of parking available on nearby Johnson street, as well as in the back streets of Fitzroy.
  • How do I get to the Belfry via public transport?
    The easiest way to get to the venue via public transport is: · Tram: o #11 tram down Brunswick st stop #16, then a short 30 second walk across Johnson street o #96 tram down Nicholson st stop #13, then a 5 min walk across to Brunswick st. o #86 tram down Smith st stop # 19, then less than 10 min walk · Train: o Victoria Park train station (Hurstbridge and Mernda lines) and Parliament train stations are approx. 20 mins walk from the Belfry. · Bus: o #200, 202 and 207 bus, getting off at the corner of Johnson Street and Brunswick Street
  • Is everything vegan?
    Always 100% vegan. We wouldn’t cook any other way!
  • What GF options do you have?
    We love our GF friends! We have two GF cheesecakes available, as well as Souvlaki with GF pita (large size only), Salt & Pepper Calamari, Snack Packs, two GF proteins and more! Please note that there is always a risk of cross-contamination.
  • What Nut-free options do you have?
    We only have two menu items that contain nuts (Baklava cheesecake and whipped feta dip with pita). Please note that there is always a risk of cross-contamination.
  • What new products are you bringing with you?
    We have a bunch of new dishes we can’t wait to share with you, including our whipped feta dip & pita, our new Ultimate lamb protein, Smores cheesecake and more!
  • Can I purchase ‘at-home’/take home or frozen products from you at this pop-up?
    Unfortunately, not at this pop up. We are limited for refrigerated space this time around so will not be bringing any ‘take home’ products with us. However, every customer who dines with us at the pop up will receive a special discount code for our next Melbourne delivery run which we are announcing in the next 2 weeks, as our thank you for coming along.
  • I was really hoping you would be serving burgers/pride cheesecake/platters/this thing I saw on Instagram) – why aren’t you?
    For us, we are really focused on getting our amazing customers their food in a very timely manner and really streamlining the kitchen as best as possible to help minimise wait times, and give our customers the best experience possible. This being said, if this pop-up goes well and we are invited back, we will certainly look at how we can maximise our menu.
  • I have another question that isn't listed here -what do I do?
    We are always up for a chat, feel free to reach out to us via socials (@ishouldbe_souvlaki on insta) or via the contact us page on our website. Please note that the week of the pop up is quite full-on for us, so it may take us 24 hours or more to come back to your query.
  • I’m obsessed with cheesecake – what flavours are you bringing with you?
    We have a large range of cheesecakes available, including biscoff, Lemon blueberry (GF), White chocolate raspberry (GF), Cookies & Cream, Baklava and Smores (chocolate marshmallow biscuit).
