Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are your opening hours?

We are open 5 days per week, Wednesday to Sunday. On a Wednesday & Thursday we are open from 12pm - 3pm (lunch) and 6pm - 9pm (dinner). On a Friday our dinner is from 6pm - 9:30pm. On weekends our lunches are from 12pm - 4pm and on a Saturday dinner is from 6pm - 9:30pm and on a Sunday, 6pm - 9pm.

Q: Why do you have a seperate lunch & dinner menu?

We started off as a venue with mostly a take away feel and menu. Over the years we have worked really hard on improving customer experience and ensuring that our customers have the best experience possible when dining with us. For us, this has included us renovating our dining room, installing a bar and cocktails as well as many other things. We know that some customers are after a more interesting and elevated dining experience at dinner so in late 2023, we split into a seperate lunch and dinner menu, to offer customers that elevating dining experience at dinner and also a more casual feel at lunch. Everybody wins!

Q: Why are there some items I can’t get take away?

In late 2023, we did an audit of our menu, doing significant testing so we were only offering take away options for those dishes that could withstand third party delivery and still be as delicious as it would be if you had it in our restaurant, straight out of the kitchen. Some of our more delicate menu items didn’t make the cut. We also have a very small kitchen and so our take away menu was designed to maximise efficiency, meaning you spend less time waiting for take away and more time eating all the delicious things!

Q: How many can I book for?

You can book for as little as two people or as many as 18 people. The more the merrier!

Q: Why should I book a table?

We know that sometimes it’s not possible, but where you can, we always really appreciate when you book a table. We hate disappointing customers on very busy nights when we can’t seat as many walk ins and when you book a table, it means we can more adequately staff our venue, bringing in more team members when we know we will need the extra help, which in turn means our team can spend more time with you, and you have a better experience.

Q: Are you fully licensed? Can I BYO?

We are fully licensed and do not allow BYO

Q: Is everything vegan?

Absolutely everything!

Q: Do you have GF options?

We love our GF friends and have many options available for them. These items are marked as GF or GFO (GFO, can be made GF on request). Please note however that we cannot guarantee no cross contamination (as much as we try), so if you are a coeliac, we recommend not eating with us for your own safety.

Q: What are your set menu policies?

We require all tables 5+ to choose a set menu for their party. This is to ensure that all of your food arrives at the same time and that large tables don’t overwhelm our small kitchen.

Q: Can I bring a birthday cake?

Unfortunately we don’t allow outside food (including cakes) in our venue. If you are looking to order a full cheesecake for your birthday or celebration, send us a message!

Q: What is parking like near your venue?

There is often parking on King St (Right outside our venue) and on side streets. Your best bet outside of King Street would be Holt & Station St

Q: What is I Should be Souvlaki at home?
